1. Department Store Setup. “Competitors that are out there come in and handle one thing.” Tip told us. “What does the football program need? What does the basketball program need? But then there are so many more clubs and organizations that have to [handle apparel] on their own, or they’ve never been able to do it. So how do I include an AD, or anyone who is involved with a club or activity, to get things that are theirs. Not just the school logo, but their school logo with their club, name, or number on it. That stuff is important, that stuff is number one for us.”
2. Complete Brand Control. In his years of experience working with youth leaders, Tip explained, “They do not want to have the brand incorrect.” At some point in handling apparel, every AD, coach, or team admin has dealt with incorrect logos or variations to your brand. “We don’t just guess at the logo,” Tip continued. “We take your logos, these are the logos you are selecting. It’s not generic.”
3. No Inventory Management. “So many people get stuck or trapped with boxes or stuff they can’t sell.” That scenario may sound all too familiar. “Every school has that storage unit or basement that just has tons of apparel sitting around; that risk goes away with us. [Instead], that inventory is sitting in our warehouse and going out one unit at a time.”
